This movie suffers from something a lot of movies of this type suffer from and that's this: if there is a point at which someone could die, someone will die. They come to a ravine and they risk crossing it rather than searching out a way around or an easier crossing point, and why are these wolves attacking people anyhow? These wolves are like the size of trucks, monster trucks and I don't care if they're near the den (the first wolf in the film is not near his den and he charges three men. For being some sort of expert on how to kill wolves Neeson's character makes many mistakes and some important questions are not answered like "what happened to the rest of the bang sticks?" The men wandering through the wilderness make several key errors in the film as well, spreading their group apart, traveling unarmed, not making snowshoes or spears/clubs/maces or shelter. what conclusion? A classic "Lady or the Tiger" type ending, which is not an ending and leaves open to speculation what occurs between Liam Neeson and the Alpha Wulf (it's spelled different because he is the cunning antagonist).

Great build up to a real let down of a conclusion. Despite what the front cover and synopsis would lead one to believe, ThanksKilling isn't a campy, low-budget horror flick that embraces its own ridiculousness. If you care to waste an hour of your time, or Lord forbid you can find something in this film that is even remotely redeeming, give it a view on Netflix streaming. If you know anything about us and our movie watching habits, that's saying something.

My wife and I were ready to punch out several times on this film that, once you remove the begining and end credits, is roughly an hour long. The horror elements are stupid, the "gags" aren't funny, and the original Friday the 13th probably had better gore effects. It's barely feature-length at a scant 70 minutes, but the film feels like it goes on forever. General premise is about an anthropomorphic killer turkey that comes back on Thanksgiving and systematically kills a bunch of teenagers / 20-somethings.

This pile of garbage though? It tries to purposely be "so bad it's funny", but fails on all accounts.
